As a Chrisitian, when we are Faithful to God and His commandments, we can know without a doubt that our Finances will be taken care of.

Below are just a few of the Scriptural promises concerning our Finances:

Deuteronomy 8:18 "But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day."

Proverbs 3:9 -10
9. "Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10. "So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine."

Malachi 3:8 -11
8. "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Luke 6:38 "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again."

If however I am unfaithful to bring the Tithe and Offering, to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and to give as He has instructed in His Word, then I cannot claim His promises.

I believe also that my Finances can fail if I do not read the Bible, pray, faithfully attend church, take care of the widow, the orphan, the poor, walk in love, and care for those of the household of Faith. Each of these is also in the Word of God.

Many Christians quote Philippians 4:19. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

What we as Christians must remember is this promise comes after Phillipians 4:15-18.

15. Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

16. For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

17. Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

18. But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

It was only after the Philippian church did verses 15-18 for Paul, the Servant of God, that Paul said [b]"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
