Jesus has the answer to unbelief, and why it seems as if our prayers are not being answered. Lets examine first what Jesus said to his disciples about faith: Mark 11:22-25 NLT Then Jesus said to the disciples, "Have faith in God. 23) I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea, and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. 24) I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours. 25) But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sin too. You need faith in Jesus and His word, know and understand that the word of God is forever, the word will never change. There are many promises in the Bible and we need to find them, then stand on them. 1 John 5:4 NLT For every child of God defeats this evil world, and we achieve this victory through our faith.
Hebrews 11:1 NLT Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.
Heavenly Father, we pray today for understand and wisdom to know your word and apply it to our lives. We thank you for victory that overcomes the world, which is faith in your word. In Jesus name we pray. Amen
