As a Christian, I consider it an Honor and Blessing, to be able to return back to the Lord, a Tithe of all that He has Blessed me with. As I bring the Tithe and Offering back to Him, I know that I am covered by Promise's in the Bible, and the Promises of God will never fail (See Isaiah 55:11). The Word of God says the following:

Malachi 3:10-11
10 Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the LORD of hosts, “ If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.
11. “ And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,”

Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Proverbs 3:9-10
9. Honor the LORD with your possessions, And with the first fruits of all your increase;
10. So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine.

My failure to Honor God with my Tithe and Offering would bring a Curse upon me.

Malachi 3:8-9
8.“ Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, ‘ In what way have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings.
9. You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation.

I make the choice everyday of my life to serve the Lord with every part of me, Spirit, Soul, and Body. I choose to be obedient to the Word of God, by Serving and Worshipping God in Tithe and Offering.
